An Outcast at Home

Ever since Ying was a child, she hasn’t felt at home. Her father was a soldier from the Valley Tribes. Her mother fell in love with him, and had a child with him during a time of peace, until the marauders broke the peace.

Children in town didn’t trust Ying growing up, and made fun of her darker hair and orange eyes. While she never got into fights about it, Ying never felt fully welcome even in her own town.

To prove that she truly belonged, Ying dedicated herself to helping her town, and making them rich. She would reach deeper into the mountain than anyone ever had, and find the glittering gems that her people so valued.
